Then I realized that production runs never last forever, so I bought everything again to keep new in box for years down the line. Well, now I have a few vehicles, and they all are setup the same way. In fact this setup amazed me so much that i eventually bought backups of everything just to keep for my next vehicle. Components, especially amplifiers always sound better at 60% their potential than 90%. I’m a firm believer in excessive capabilities. Yes this is way more power than rated, but I’ve never blown a driver up. For subs I run two Rockford P3D412’s, each powered by an Alpine PDX M12 ar approx. Personally, my golden setup consists of some of the most heavily criticized gear in car audio. Like their predecessors though, they will eventually become comfortable and relax.
